Our Content Management System (CMS) is a hosted web service delivering a software as a service solution to mainatin content on a website. Developed by 3 Legs Ltd to add to their portfolio of web services, our CMS allows you to maintain aspects of your website from any computer with Internet access.
The technology behind our CMS uses the latest AJAX Web 2.0 techniques to deliver an easy to use data driven content manager. Using this manager, new images, audio, video and documents can be added into the system. Other text based data can also be entered into the system. Using a series of output templates the system creates a series of web pages which are uploaded to your website.
Our range of CMS modules are a quick and cost effective way of adding content management to any website. If you already own a website or are looking for a new website, our CMS options can enable you to have control over your website. For those looking for something more specific our Custom CMS option will create modules that are just right for your website.
Below are the main elements of the Web Based Interface.
File Manager
All the images, document, audio and video content that you wish to use within your website are uploaded into our system via the file manager. This is a simple system to use that allows you to upload files into various folders. The file manager also allows you to view thumbnail images of photos uploaded in to the system.
Content Editor
The content editor allows you to maintain the information within your website. This web interface allows you to edit individual pages or enter structured data into our input templates. Using the content browser you can select images or files already uploaded via the file manager. The content editor also includes a HTML editor which allows you to edit the text and its styling. Wizards help you to quickly input data into some of the modules.
Publish
The final part is the publish process. Here we use the files from the file manger, data in the content browser and output templates that we create for your website to make the pages on your website. Using our output templates wrapped in the design for your website allows you to simply focus on the page content while we look after the design.
